"I wish this book would have been there when I started to try meditation. It's written in a very accessible way and explains the basics and more in a very down-to-earth manner. Relaxing is not the same as meditation, as a lot of beginners seem to think. The author explains this very clearly and gives a lot of handy advice and other tips. The drawings are simple, but good enough to illustrate things. The appendices on how to make your own meditation equipment are welcome! Although I'm not really a beginner anymore I picked up quite some tips to make my meditation experiences even better.
